Information Collection and Use

All data processed by SleepUp remains on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. Your health and fitness information is processed entirely locally on your iPhone.

SleepUp accesses the following health and fitness data types from Apple HealthKit (read-only):

Sleep Analysis (HKCategoryTypeIdentifierSleepAnalysis) — Read-only
Heart Rate (HKQuantityTypeIdentifierHeartRate) — Read-only
Step Count (HKQuantityTypeIdentifierStepCount) — Read-only

HealthKit Data

This app accesses Apple HealthKit data solely to provide you with sleep insights, heart rate monitoring, and activity tracking.

            We do not use your health data for advertising purposes.
We do not sell your health data to third parties or data brokers.
We do not share your HealthKit data with any third party for any purpose.
HealthKit data is read in accordance with Apple's HealthKit guidelines and is processed entirely on your device.
We do not have access to your data — only your device does.

SleepUp is a sleep tracking and wellness tool, not a medical device. The app does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Information displayed is for general wellness and sleep tracking purposes only. Consult a healthcare professional for medical concerns.

Third-Party Services

This app does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We do not use Firebase, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or any other analytics platform.

Data Retention and Deletion

Health data is retained locally on your device for as long as the app is installed. App preferences are stored locally until you uninstall the app or reset them. The developer does not retain any copies of your data on any server. You can delete all data at any time by uninstalling the app, revoking HealthKit access, or clearing app data.

Children's Privacy

This app is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Is Providing Data Required?

Granting HealthKit access is optional. However, without these permissions, core features (sleep tracking, heart rate monitoring, activity display) will not function. You can revoke permissions at any time without affecting your ability to use non-health features.

International Transfers

No personal data is transferred to the developer or any external server. Therefore, no international transfer of personal data occurs. All data processing takes place exclusively on your device.
